Happy to have been able to help South Dakota State University’s Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering Department by donating some manifolds for their hydraulics training test stand. A great new tool to expand student interaction with hydraulic systems and train the next generation of fluid power engineers.

Iowa State University Project

ND was happy to support the Iowa State Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering program by donating a machined hydraulic manifold valve block for their Dynamic Tire Testing project.

“We are currently going through a major development phase in our lab facilities building on our strong programs in agricultural and off-highway machinery system engineering.   This particular valve block will be used in our Single Tire Tester (see photo below) will be used to load tires and investigate their response under different loading conditions and to estimate tire parameters for used in the modeling of tires.

Additionally, we train over 200 students each year in our fluid power courses supported with hands-on training in the Danfoss Fluid Power Laboratory.   Our engineering and technology programs turn out excellent students who make an impact in the marketplace. “
